About SOUND at Doral

Our Story

SOUND Integrated Pediatric Therapies was created to provide coordinated, evidence-based care for children and families. We specialize in Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Feeding Therapy, Music Therapy, and ABA Behavioral Therapy — all working together under one unified treatment model.

Rather than offering isolated services, our multidisciplinary approach allows therapists to collaborate and develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each child’s unique developmental needs. Our goal is simple: to support meaningful progress in communication, movement, regulation, and independence.

The SOUND Model reflects our philosophy of coordinated, multidisciplinary therapy. By integrating speech, occupational, physical, behavioral, feeding, and music therapy, our specialists work together to support each child’s neurological development through structured and individualized care.

Music Therapy S.O.U.N.D – Structured Outreach Using Neurodevelopmental Dynamics

Enhancing Communication, Regulation & Engagement Through Music

Music Therapy at SOUND uses structured musical activities to support communication, sensory regulation, coordination, and social interaction. Led by a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC), sessions use rhythm, melody, and movement to stimulate neurological development while reinforcing therapeutic goals.

As part of the S.O.U.N.D. model — Structured Outreach Using Neurodevelopmental Dynamics — Music Therapy works alongside Speech, Occupational, Physical, Feeding, and ABA Therapy to create coordinated care designed for meaningful developmental progress.
